LimeSDR is based on Lime Microsystem's next-generation field-programmable RF transceiver technology, which combines FPGA and microcontroller chipsets. They are connected to the computer via USB 3.0 with a Type A connector. LimeSDR then provides wireless data, and the CPU provides the computing power needed to process the input signals and generates the data that LimeSDR transmits to all other devices.
