The HamGeek mAT-30 Antenna Tuner is designed for YAESU mobile radios. It is compatible with original antenna tuners. It can be used for most transceivers, including FT-100, FT-857D, FT-897D, FT-450D, FT-891, FT-991 and FT-950. Its operation method is as simple and convenient as the method for the original ones.
It can be used to tune dipole antennas, including horizontal, inverted V, V, Yagi and frame antennas. It can also tune mono-pole antennas such as long-wire, inclined and whip antennas.
Its performance is better than that of ordinary built-in antenna tuners. For FT-891 HF transceiver, antennas with VSWR over 3 can only be tuned with the antenna tuner, while the tuning cannot be done by other antenna tuners including original FC-50.
